13th November 2016 – With the Clevedon Agricultural and Pastoral Show being rather abruptly cancelled putting paid to our original plans on Sunday. We commenced a Rata Ridge Explore from Upper Mangatawhiri Dam Car Park, in the Hunua Ranges. Originally intended to be a leisurely walk to explore the Rata Ridge track and if time, possibly Goss Track as well (turns out to be Closed / Off limits). 15.2 km covered during round trip. With Carl Brett, Lina Zhou, and Fergus Young.
